In the shortest terms I can put this: not every queer kid is the same. Some like Kurt and Blaine grow up completely aware of who they are and are okie dokie with that. Some like Karofsky know who they are and loathe themselves half to death for it. Some like Brittany just don’t think too hard about it. And for some, like Santana and Sam, it just doesn’t come that easily. There’s turmoil, there’s questioning, there’s wondering, there’s not even knowing what is wrong with you and why can’t you just be happy for a change for the longest time until you finally figure out there was never anything wrong with you at all. And you know what? This one is more often the case than any of the others.

It’s in the writing, in the direction, in the acting - this show is not rocket science. You can easily tell the motivations behind every character. You can call storylines months in advance. I’ve lost track of how many storylines we’ve called this season that unfolded exactly like we said. Not because we’re smarter or better than anyone, but simply because we were paying attention all along. Looking at things and wondering why.
It’s really just that. Look at everything that doesn’t make sense in this show and ask why. Why is this happening, where is this going, what point are they even trying to make here.
